Went here with my partner while we were visiting the area and we enjoyed the meal experience. Had a really great server as well who was helpful with menu item choices. As someone from the southern US, I knew that despite the descriptions, the meals weren’t gonna hit like that for me, but that was OK because I went in with tempered expectations. I got the jambalaya which was good, but definitely not as flavorful as I typically get back home. Some of the real standouts where the shrimp which were tasty, and the crabcakes were also delicious! Recommend both of those! It was also a surprisingly warm day outside for April and it was great to be able to enjoy their outside patio space.
We were craving a seafood lunch. So we went to Coastal Kitchen and Bar. The waitress was pleasant and the atmosphere was calm and casual. My partner and I both had the lobster grilled cheese sandwich. It was filled with lobster!! I also had sweet potato fries and they were the best fries I’ve had. They weren’t soggy and had the perfect crunch! I 100% recommend! We will be back!

Great seafood restaurant. Cozy with a good atmosphere. It is a bit dark in there but it adds to the ambiance. They have an indoor/outdoor patio for when the weather is nice, which is helpful if it's hot but it's raining. The food is delicious and they offer good portions. The price is on par with the quality and amount of food. They have a very large cocktail/drink list and the ones I've tried are delish. It does get very busy there so reservations are recommended.
My very good friend and I love to go to different towns/cities for lunch. I googled the area and saw Coastal Kitchen, read reviews, the menu and decided to go there for lunch. Free parking at the back. A great sized patio with umbrellas and comfortable seating is at the back of the restaurant. We were greeted by Jamie Gee, who’s very nice, knowledgeable and personable. He took us to our table and got menus. After perusing the menu, lots to choose from, I decided on the Vegetarian Power Bowl, I loved it so very delicious. My friend had the Nachos which she said was very delicious as well. I order a Mimosa. Hmm a lot to be desired. Not sure what it was but, definitely, not a Mimosa which I’ve had many times at other restaurants. I would have spoken up but I had a bit of a headache that day and didn’t bother. We went as guests 2 months ago, for our 1st time. Enjoyed it so much, took our own guests there last month! We will go again! Easy parking in back of restaurant.
We’ve visited this establishment several times over the years but this was my first ever time getting one of their burgers. And wow, I feel like I’ve been missing out from not ordering it sooner! I asked for extra cheese and it was the perfect addition, this is probably in my top 5 favourite burgers.
This place is a real hidden gem, a friend and myself ended up here by chance the other day and had a great first experience. The only downside is that I wish we could have tried more food but we were so full after splitting a few appetizers (not a bad thing at all). We came in for Appy-hour and were lucky enough to try the hurricane shrimp and the Mexi-queso fries. We both got a margarita flight and an oyster bomb, and finished off with the mussels. The mussels were a tad on the salty side but that didn’t take away from them at all, and every mussel was cooked perfectly. The Oysters were so delicious, paired with a rimmed shot of grey goose for 9.99 we could have had several more if we weren’t driving. All in all an amazing experience that we will both be talking about for a while. Everything was reasonably priced for the quality that we received and the menu is full of amazing options and a wide variety of specials throughout the week. This is definitely a place I will be coming back to and I look forward to trying so many more things on the menu.
